Today I played around with an armature, a jointed puppet used for stop-motion animation.
I soldered for the first time in a while, but nothing would stick, so I fixed it with resin.
Who knew the electronics I reluctantly did in college would come in handy? Life is full of surprises. (Though I couldn’t do it.)
Lately I’ve had a hard time keeping my eyes open during lectures, and I’ve been getting through them by poking the webbing of my hand with a pencil or straightening my posture.
I want to live days without a time attack every morning and night.
I keep thinking I need to submit to various film festivals, but it’s so tedious that it ranks near the top of my list of chores. I can probably only do it when I’m feeling virtuous, so I’ll do my best.

若冲と蕪村

きのうサントリー美術館でやっていた若冲と蕪村展に行きました。
最終日だったからか人がすごかったですが、若冲 & 蕪村の一生を感じられておもしろかったです。
バーガーキングで「海外のヌーディストビーチにはしわしわのおばあさんもいる」という話を聞き、憧れがわいたのですが、画像検索したらやっぱりちょっとハードルが高そうだと感じてしまいました。
最近陶芸に興味があり、近所の陶芸教室を調べたり、オーブン粘土でお皿などを作っている人のブログを読んでいたら、「これってお年寄りが絵手紙などを始める心理かも・・・」と思いました。

今日は休みだったので、よく寝ていろんな事をしました。
『シーズンチケット』という映画を見たのですが、「いつも曇天でどんよりしてそう」という私の中のイギリスのイメージに合っていて、ビデオで見たので最後に巻き戻さなきゃいけないのがなつかしかったです。
