Tooth Extraction

WordPress is written in a language I don’t understand, and since I only know HTML and CSS I tweak it by instinct, so I get frustrated when I can’t get things exactly how I want.
But this template is very easy to customize, and I’m glad I found it.
The other day I had my upper and lower fourth teeth pulled for orthodontic treatment.
Compared to wisdom teeth the pain was a breeze, but when they pulled them I thought my jaw would come off, and there was an indescribable “BAKKYA!!!” sound.
Having teeth pulled gave me a feeling close to despair, like there’s no going back now, and for a while I couldn’t look at myself in the mirror.
I could only eat liquid food, so I tried to buy ochazuke at the supermarket, but I was dazed by the downpour and the shock of the extraction and bought furikake by mistake.

今日は母と若冲の絵を見に行きます。
この前「ちゃんと絵が描きたいな〜」と思い大学のデッサン室を予約したのですが、面倒などの理由から一度も行かずに終わってしまい、予備校のときは毎日毎日よくもあんなに大きな紙を買ってやってたものだと思いました。

↑授業中に取ったメモに描いてあったのですが、どういう授業内容だったか思い出せません。
ネットワーク印刷とスキャンがどうしてもできないので有線の力を借りようと思い、USBケーブルを買ったのですが、短すぎたので延長コードを買いに行きました。
電器店の店員さんは大体どの人もすばらしい商品知識で、裏ではスパルタ教育なのかな・・・と思いつつも感心します。
ガンガン印刷できるようになってうれしいな。

Pages CMSで編集Twitterに上げていた漫画です。
スマホが便利すぎて、ずーっと見ていそうになってしまうので
自分への戒めみたいな気持ちで描きました。
ネアンデルタール人は、喉仏の位置が高すぎて
うまく言葉がしゃべれなかったために、
ホモ・サピエンスとほとんど同じ姿をしていたにも関わらず
絶滅してしまったというのを授業で聞いて、
切なくなりました。
